Caliente, a beautiful young woman falls for a mysterious young man. After months of sneaking off in the night by her new husband and father, she asks about it, he refuses to tell. She then seeks advice from Obead, the alchemist, who warns her and gives her protection. Does she follow his advice or is love stronger? This is a Bahamian folk legend about the Chickcharney, a half man, half bird.
