Suzanne is a larger-than-life gallery owner. When she receives an unexpected call from Magnus, in a bind because he can’t pick up his toddler, London, from kindergarten, she agrees to help him. But the babysitting puts her at odds with 18-year-old Mia, who feels her mother is at the beck and call of a man who has betrayed them both. Because Magnus isn't just anyone — he's Suzanne's ex-husband and Mia’s father. When Magnus picks up London that evening at their old home, the familiar setting forces Suzanne to reckon with their shared past.
