Roots: Reconnecting Ghana and The Bahamas is a short documentary exploring the historical, genetic, and cultural ties between Bahamians and Ghana. Through DNA research, community encounters, Junkanoo, and reflections on African Diaspora identity, the film asks what it means to reclaim ancestral connections disrupted by slavery, colonialism, and migration.
