Source to Give Cash Prizes for 2017 Screenwriters Residency Program
"Source/management+production was proud to fund the 2016 Bahamas International Film Festival Screenplay Awards. In 2016 we saw many impressive screenplays which made it a very difficult for the judges to chose the winners. Furthermore, it was a true joy to work with such talented writers one on one in such an incredible setting (Harbour Island, Bahamas). Not only did source/management+production fund the award but has also made it our mission to help turn their incredible screenplays into movies. We are assisting some of the many exceptional directors from the festival with their future projects."
What Writers & Directors can expect after BIFF Source/management+production & BIFF collaborations with Directors and Screenwriters are the following: Working with Evan Buxbaum screenplay THE WILD, (BIFF 2015 SUN BELT EXPRESS); Adapting a novel with Logan Sandler (2016 BIFF winner writer/director LIVE CARGO); Adapting SHORTWAVE into a TV series with Writer/director Ryan Phillips; Working on 2016 BIFF screenplay (1st Place winner) Michael Graf (LAST INDIAN WAR) with producer Gordon Gray (Miracle, Invincible, etc.) to make the film; Working with Eric Gross (2nd Place winner) on MAN BEHIND THE BOYS Developing NULLIFY with Greg Johnson (3rd place winner)
